The norm BRC (British Retail Consortium, the technical standard for companies supplying retailer branded food products) assures that their suppliers meet the requirements that guaranty safe and healthy food.

Global GAP Global GAP

Protocol created by the bigger supermarket chains that operate in different countries in Western Europe. Its purpose is to increase the consumers’ confidence and the health of the products, developing Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) which must be followed by the producers. Eurep focuses on the safety and health of the food products and the traceability of the product until its place of origin. Also it refers to the requirements about using pesticides, the security of the employers and the fulfillment of the national labour laws.
